Our etiquette creates a mindful environment for relaxed hours at the Südpfalz Therme.

House and Bathing Regulations

  1. § 1 Binding Nature and Purpose

    The General Terms and Conditions and the House Rules are binding for all guests. The Südpfalz Therme is a facility designed to provide every guest with the highest level of recreation and relaxation. Furthermore, these House Rules are intended to guarantee safety, order, and cleanliness. By entering the Südpfalz Therme, acquiring an access authorization, and receiving the transponder, the guest agrees to acknowledge these House Rules as well as the posted General Terms and Conditions.

  2. § 2 General Provisions

    1. For security reasons, certain areas are under video surveillance (cashier area, large outdoor pool, activity pool, and sauna entrance).
    2. Every guest must be prepared for the typical dangers in a bathing and sauna facility by exercising increased caution.
    3. All facilities should be treated with care.
    4. Behave in a manner that does not harm, endanger, or impede or annoy others more than is unavoidable under the circumstances. Refrain from anything that violates good morals or the maintenance of safety, cleanliness, peace, and order. Sexual acts and displays are prohibited.
    5. Be considerate and quiet in relaxation rooms; eating and drinking are not permitted in silent relaxation rooms, and noise must be avoided.
    6. It is not permitted to use mobile phones, musical instruments, sound or image reproduction devices, and other media; photographing and filming individuals is not allowed.
    7. Loungers and seating areas may only be used with a sufficiently large underlay (bath towel) and may not be permanently occupied with towels, bags, or other items. Items left on loungers and chairs may be cleared away by staff or other guests if necessary.
    8. Persons who cannot move safely without assistance are only permitted to use the facilities accompanied by a suitable, responsible escort.
    9. Children and adolescents up to 15 years of age are only permitted to use the facilities when accompanied by an adult.
    10. Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor area of the Therme. The sauna is a non-smoking zone. The consumption of cannabis and illegal intoxicants is prohibited on the entire premises at all times.
    11. Persons under the influence of intoxicating substances are prohibited from entering or may be expelled from the premises.
    12. Food and beverages may only be consumed in the designated restaurant areas. Bringing in food and alcoholic beverages is not permitted. Fragile containers such as glass, ceramics, and similar items may not be brought in.
    13. Shaving, manicures, pedicures, and dyeing or tinting hair are not permitted.
  3. § 3 Therme

    1. Customary swimwear must be worn in the Therme ("topless" for female guests is not permitted).
    2. Barefoot areas, shower rooms, and the swimming pool may not be entered with street shoes. For hygiene reasons, trolleys and bags with wheels may not be brought into the barefoot areas.
    3. Bathing facilities may only be used after thorough body cleansing. The use of soap and other body cleansing agents outside the shower rooms is not permitted.
    4. The water areas may only be entered via the designated access points. Jumping in from the side is not permitted.
    5. The use of sports and play equipment is not permitted.
    6. Bathing ends 20 minutes before closing time.
  4. § 4 Sauna

    1. The sauna area is a textile-free zone. This does not apply to the gastronomy area. Please wear a bathrobe there.
    2. The sauna area may not be entered with street shoes. For hygiene reasons, trolleys and bags with wheels may not be brought into the barefoot areas.
    3. Sauna facilities may only be used after thorough body cleansing. The use of soap and other body cleansing agents outside the shower areas is not permitted.
    4. Only a lying towel / seat pad should be taken into the sweating rooms. Bathing shoes may not be worn.
    5. Out of mutual consideration, we kindly request silence, especially in the heat cabins and relaxation zones.
    6. The use of personal, self-brought infusion essences in the sauna area is prohibited. Infusions may only be performed by Südpfalz Therme staff. High-quality essential oils are used for infusions. If you are pregnant or with small children, an epileptic, or have allergies or respiratory illnesses, please consult your doctor beforehand.
    7. Male children over 6 years of age are not permitted to enter the women's sauna.
    8. Please leave the sauna area 15 minutes before closing time.
  5. § 5 Salt Grotto

    1. Always enter the salt grotto in dry, comfortable clothing. Wear the provided overshoes.
    2. In the interest of all guests, please refrain from strong perfumes and deodorants, as these can irritate the respiratory tract.
    3. Please do not touch the walls and ceilings.
    4. Eating, drinking, telephoning, and photographing, as well as the use of any electronic devices, are generally prohibited in the salt grotto.
    5. Moving the relaxation loungers is not permitted.
    6. In the interest of all guests seeking relaxation, we ask you to maintain peace and quiet during your stay.
    7. Ensure that your children do not throw objects at the walls and ceiling and do not touch them.
    8. The salt bricks on the floor are protected by a layer of loose salt. Ensure that your children do not put this salt in their mouths or throw it, as contact with the eyes can be harmful.
