Qigong in the open air

Qigong has been an integral part of the Südpfalz Therme’s exercise and relaxation program for a number of years – now the course is being held outdoors in the adjacent spa gardens.

Qigong is an ancient Far Eastern form of exercise and is characterized by slow, gentle and harmonious movements. This makes it suitable for many people – regardless of age and physical condition. Qigong exercises are individually adaptable and promote flexibility. Practicing Qigong outdoors also offers the opportunity to connect with nature. The fresh air, sunlight and sounds of nature contribute to relaxation and well-being. This connection to nature can enhance the positive effects of Qigong and promote a sense of harmony – a time-out that provides relaxation and new energy.

The course with 8 units starts on June 3, from 5.30 – 6.30 pm and takes place outdoors (dry) even in bad weather. The meeting point is the Kneipp chairs at the entrance to the spa gardens and the thermal baths. The exercise is done standing up, seating cannot be provided. No equipment is required, comfortable clothing is sufficient. If you wish, you can bring a mat and a drink. Reservations can only be made via the Südpfalz Therme.
